This book contains poetry written during and following the several years that Emily Jane Page suffered from the ravages of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and her subsequent stem-cell transplant.
Proceeds from the sale of the book are being donated to the Shine Cancer Support charity that offered much comfort to Emily and her family during her final year.
Shine exists exclusively to support adults in their 20s, 30s and 40s who have experienced a cancer diagnosis. There is never a good time to have cancer, but younger adults face different issues than their older or younger counterparts and many of these are not dealt with by traditional cancer support charities and services.
